We were delighted today to have the opportunity to celebrate our wonderful Area 3 Representative, Pat Walsh, who is retiring this year.
Pat has been a fantastic Area 3 Representative for West Waterford, Waterford, Golden Vale ,Tipperary and North Kilkenny Pony Clubs. We would like to thank Pat sincerely for all his time, hard work and dedication over the years.
We were delighted to be joined on the occasion by Pat’s lovely wife, Annette. Wishing Pat every happiness and enjoyment in his retirement.

Friday was another packed day, with an ODE and a derby, rounded off with our awards ceremony and, of course, the obligatory water fight! 💦🏆 What a fantastic way to end an unforgettable week.
A massive thank you to the Fell family for their incredible facilities and hospitality.
Thank you to our committee. You spend months planning this week, and your dedication, hard work, and commitment keep our club running year after year.
To our fantastic instructors, thank you for your endless patience, expert guidance, and encouragement. Your support and enthusiasm make such a difference, and we are so grateful for everything you do.
Here’s to another amazing camp full of memories, friendships, and plenty of fun. We can’t wait to do it all again next year! 🐴

Peter & Margaret Verling & Hannah Trigg competed at the IPC Tetrathlon Championships this weekend at Punchestown.
Huge congratulations to Margaret on coming 1st in the Senior Girls overall (& 1st in the run) & to Peter on coming 7th in the Senior boys (& 1st in the run).
Hannah was delighted to complete her most difficult XC course yet & to get a PB in her swim. Well done to them all! A memorable weekend 🐴

Thursday was another busy and enjoyable day.
We were delighted to welcome Sorcha O’Connor from RED MILLS, who holds a Master’s in Veterinary Medicine. Sorcha gave a fascinating and informative talk on how to manage your horse’s and pony’s feeding, with lots of practical advice for our members.
Thursday was also Test Day for our D and D+ members, and we’re delighted to say they all passed with flying colours. Congratulations to everyone on your hard work and fantastic achievement well done all! 🎉🐴

Wednesday was our fun day, kicking off with the pony games, which were won by Nora, Cece, Emily and Melissa, captained by Rebecca. Congratulations to the winning team! 🎉
The fun continued with goodie bags and hi-vis jackets kindly provided by the RSA. A big thank you to committee member Edel for giving a very informative talk on road safety.
Next came the exciting Puissance wall jump-off. We were delighted to have Timmy Beecher join us as our special guest to help with the event. After some fantastic jumping, Fearne Tivy claimed the win congratulations, Fearne! 🏆
We then had the presentation of the Denis O’Brien Memorial Trophy presented by Mary Mangan, which was awarded to Brian Casey. A huge congratulations to Brian on this well-deserved achievement! 👏
We rounded off a fantastic day with a BBQ enjoyed by all our families and friends. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a memorable day, and to everyone who came along and supported the event. We hope you all had a wonderful time, and we look forward to seeing you all again next year! 🐴🌞

What an unforgettable day we had at camp with our very special guest, Rachael Blackmore.
We were truly honoured and grateful that Rachael took the time to visit, meet our members, and share her inspiring story. It was an incredible experience for everyone, and to top it all off, she brought the famous Cheltenham Gold Cup for us to see.
This is a day we will always remember. Thank you, Rachael, for your kindness, generosity, and for making such wonderful memories with us. 🏆✨
