Well done to our minimus kids!
This year the minimus was held in Punchestown in beautiful sunshine. Our members taking part were Lucy Ahearne, Cara Padden, Izzy Maxwell, Siofra Marsh and Alice Roch-Perks. The cross country course was fantastic but very challenging (see the pictures). There were however options for those, or their ponies, who didn’t fancy some of the tougher ones. All our minimus kids did amazingly well over a course that saw very few go clear. The following day we had the swim and then the run. The run was tough with a course going up and down and in sweltering heat. Our team with Lucy and Cara and two girls from Waterford cme 37th and our team of Siofra, Izzy and Alice came 70th out of 94 teams so very well done!!
