Irish Pony Club Tetrathlon Championships

The Holmestead Saddlery Irish Pony Club Tetrathlon Championships and International  competition will take place at Tattersalls Irl. Ltd., Ratoath, Co. Meath on 30th July to 1st August.  Entries close Friday 15th July at 2 pm.

Tetrathlon is a very demanding and rewarding competition involving four phases: shooting, swimming, running, and riding.

The aim of the Irish Pony Club Tetrathlon is to provide members and associates with a challenging competition requiring good horsemanship and general athletic ability.

Tetrathlon allows Irish Pony Club participants to not only further their cross country riding skills but to develop their other athletic interests in the form of swimming and running while gaining new skills such as air pistol and rifle shooting.

C test is the minimum requirement for any member who wishes to compete at the Holmestead Saddlery Irish Pony Club Tetrathlon Championships.
